Firas F Mussa is Professor of Surgery at UT-Houston. While the clinical practice is comprehensive, the research interest for most of his career has been aortic dissection. From technical conduct of complex repair of aortic dissection to running the recently launched IMPROVE-AD trial on the appropriate management of uncomplicated type B aortic dissection. Dr. Mussa holds an adjunct affiliation with Imperial College-London.
