Federica Catapano, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Humanitas University and a Diagnostic Radiologist in Cardiovascular Imaging Unit at IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan. Her clinical and research activity focuses on advanced cardiovascular imaging, including coronary CT angiography and perfusion, photon-counting CT, and cardiac MR.

She is an active member of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR) and other national and international societies, serves as Junior Deputy Editor for Insights into Imaging, and is actively engaged in interdisciplinary and international collaborations, as well as teaching and educational activities in cardiovascular imaging.
