Ben Patterson

Ben Patterson is a consultant vascular surgeon at University Hospital Southampton, which is part of the Wessex Vascular Network. He has a specialist interest in the management of aortic disease, including open and endovascular surgery for complex thoracic and thoracoabdominal pathology. Prior to this he trained in the London Deanery, and his PhD thesis was in the field of prevention of complications following endovascular repair of thoracic aortic pathology based at St Georges’ Hospital, where he was also an NIHR Clinical lecturer.
